2024-2025 High School Open House

The Maroon & Gold Family invites all students and families who are interested in learning more about St. Elizabeth High School to attend our 2024-2025 Open House Sunday, October 20th, 2024 from 10:00am to 1:00pm.

Steps to Apply to 9th Grade

  1. Fill out an Inquiry Form. After you have completed this form you will receive an email with login and application instructions.
  2. Sign up for a Viking for a Day visit. Additionally, families are encouraged to join us for a personal tour. 
  3. Log in to your newly established OnCampus account to complete your application online. 
  4. All students entering 9th grade at a Diocese of Wilmington High School are required to complete the High School Placement Test (HSPT).  
  5. Families interested in applying for financial assistance can find out more information on our Tuition and Financial Assistance webpage, or apply directly here. Financial Assistance applications are accepted and reviewed on a rolling basis throughout the year.

Important Dates & Deadlines

  • November 14, 2024: Deadline to register for the High School Placement Test
  • Mid-December 2024: Acceptances begin to be distributed on a rolling basis
  • January 31, 2025: Deadline to submit Financial Aid application
  • February 14, 2025: Early registration deadline for the Class of 2029
  • March 1, 2025: Initial registration deadline for the Class of 2029

Class of 2029 High School Placement Test

The Diocese of Wilmington High School Placement Test (HSPT) is a required admissions step for all students entering 9th grade at St. Elizabeth School. This test is used for admission, scholarship, and placement decisions. The HSPT registration fee is $65.00.

St. Elizabeth offers two dates for students to take the HSPT:
Saturday, November 16, 2024 at 8:30am
Sunday, November 17, 2024 at Noon

7th Grade Practice High School Placement Test

The Practice HSPT is available to current 7th grade students. This test mirrors the 8th grade HSPT administered in the fall, which is required for admission consideration at St. Elizabeth. The Practice HSPT is an opportunity for students to become familiar with the content and material offered on the 8th grade HSPT, while also assessing their strengths and areas to improve. Testing results will be shared with participating families in the weeks following the test. 
 
The 7th Grade Practice High School Placement Test will be held in-person on Saturday, March 1, 2025, from 8:30 am to 11:30 am.

Register by February 28, 2025.
